The things a girl’s got to do…
Forget the ironing and hoovering; I’ve been assiduously testing both spreads all morning. So far there is no clear winner. But don’t despair, I’ll keep battling on comparing them, and if James complains nothings been done when he comes home tonight, I’ll tell him I’ve been toiling all day to benefit […]

Yesterday James came home with a suprise for me: a black dress from Next. Incredibly amazed and excited I rushed to try it on… then got stuck in it. Try as I might, I just couldn’t get in to it because it’s such an odd shape. James must think I am some kind of […]

All parents are full of kid anecdotes and I’m no different.

Has anyone watched the film? What did you think to it?

Having said that, […]

In the summer holidays we visited Boston Park Farm Maize Maze in Hatfield Woodhouse, Doncaster, and all had an ‘amazing’ time. Annie enjoyed playing in the sandpit while Tom loved climbing the straw pyramid and feeding (each bag cost 20p) Paddy the Shetland pony, the pigs, goats and calves.
There was a hatching shed where we saw tiny day-old […]
