All parents are full of kid anecdotes and I’m no different.
When Tom was about 4 I noticed one morning that his bed was wet.
“Oh dear, you’ve had an accident,” I exclaimed.
“No, Mummy,” he answered, completely serious.  “Some  big boys came and did it in the night.”

What tall stories have your children told?

Am I the only one who thinks the Rocky Balboa storyline is ridiculous?  Sylvester Stalone must be atleast 60 by now. Surely the film writers didn’t really think people would believe a boxer of that age could be half decent? 
Has anyone watched the film?  What did you think to it?

Surprise, surprise… James is watching football again.  Yawn, yawn.  I can never understand how men talk about it as if it matters.  It is only a game, after all.  I can honestly say I’ve had more fun tidying out James’ sock drawer than watching grown men kick a ball around a grass rectangle.

In the summer holidays we visited Boston Park Farm Maize Maze in Hatfield Woodhouse, Doncaster, and all had an ‘amazing’ time. Annie enjoyed playing in the sandpit while Tom loved climbing the straw pyramid and feeding (each bag cost 20p) Paddy the Shetland pony, the pigs, goats and calves.
