Review: The Bourne Ultimatum starring Matt Damon

The Bourne Ultimatum is the best film I’ve seen in ages. I like it because it’s madly exciting without being all blood and gore.

What’s it’s about

This is the third in the trilogy of Jason Bourne films. It starts exactly where the 2nd film left off - when he’s on the run from the Russians - and follows Jason on a search to find out who he is and why he’s on the run. Basically he gets himself out of every tight spot that the CIA can throw at him. The reason as to why he lost his memory isn’t very exciting, but the final sequence where he falls wounded into a river and drops like a stone certainly is. The whole cinema was on a knife-edge. Had the man of steel died? Then Jason kicked back to the surface, and the cinema erupted into cheers and clapping. I nearly cried, I was so pleased.
