Super League Rhinos V Wildcats at Headingly
Last night we went to watch Leeds Rhinos against Wakefield Wildcats at Headingly. We had tickets for the Premier Experience, the itinery for which was:
6:00p.m doors open (we were in traffic)
6:15 meal served (still in traffic)
7:15 pre-match analysis (we rushed in and managed to get some food still)
8:00 kick off (only a couple of corridors away, but managed to get lost)
8:40 half time (tea and cake, although not sure the cake was meant for us)
9:30 full time (stuck in traffic again)
I would definitely recommend it to everyone, adults and children alike. The pre-match food was a buffet where you could choose from beef bourgoine, goats cheese and red pepper canelloni or prawn stir-fry. Then there was some kind of creamy tart, coffee, cheese and biscuits and mints. There was free table wine, clean toilets and an atmosphere of friendliness.
Last year we went in a different larger room which James preferred because the players used it afterwards. One time when he was drunk he met Graham Steadman there and said afterwards it was the best day of his life. Charming, I thought, remembering our wedding day and the birth of our children.
P.S If anyone knows what the creamy tart is below, please let me know.

Sounds like a great day out - hope you will come to watch Hull FC one day soon.
Good to see a site like FamilyNatters up and running - waiting for more….
September 15th, 2007 at 8:11 pmHi TopVeg, hope you are well. You are the first person to comment so thanks. This will surprise you… but I have been to the KC to watch rugby. Someone (who obviously didn’t know us well, or surely they’d have known better) invited us to their box. Great food and view!
Are you a rugby fan then?
